CLP Regulation: C&L notification
|
If we are not able to support the notification for a substance, for whatever reason, we will inform you at the earliest opportunity. You will have the option for a full refund against the particular substance or, where agreed, we will undertake additional work which will be charged separately. This notification service is based on available data as provided by the client. If you require a data search or additional advice on classification, please contact us. |
Obligations under the new Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) Regulation (EC no. 1272/2008) mean that manufacturers and importers of chemical substances will have to notify their Classification and Labelling (C&L) information to the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) for inclusion in the ‘C&L Inventory.’
For more information, and to find out if these obligations apply to you, please download our information leaflet here.
Compliance with C&L requirements can be time consuming, onerous and challenging: a notification may require you to submit information in up to 200 fields per substance.
For substances newly placed on the market, notification is required within 30 days of first manufacturing or importing. This is therefore an ongoing requirement for importers and manufacturers of substances
The REACH Centre offers efficient and cost effective support to ensure you are fully compliant with these complex requirements. To make sure you meet the deadline, order your notifications today using our on-line order system.
